Booking Conditions
1. Booking conditions with us.
Albion Travel Centre (hereinafter called
the company) endeavours to ensure all customers' complete satisfaction
in making travel arrangements, however, it is understood that the
company are acting as agents on your behalf and it is necessary
to make a few formal conditions as follows:
PLEASE NOTE IS IT YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO:
Reconfirm your flight 72 hours prior to departure
Check-in at least 2 hours prior to departure
Understand all amendment and cancellation
charges
Be aware of the need for travel insurance
Ensure you hold any
necessary visas for countries to be visited
Ensure you hold the appropriate travel documents
or passport
subject to which all
bookings are accepted
Liability
All bookings are accepted by the company, and arrangements made,
subject to the conditions imposed by the principals, and that all
tickets, vouchers and coupons are issued by the company in its capacity
as agents upon the express conditions that the company is not liable
to any customers for loss, damage, delay, injury, cancellation or
any additional expenses suffered by the customer whatsoever, or
any cause beyond the company's control shall be occasioned to the
company or any of its officials and representatives.
Your contract is with the organiser noted on your
booking confirmation who is supplying the tickets and travel arrangements.
The company is acting as an agent on behalf of this/these company/companies.
All tickets, vouchers and coupons are issued, and
arrangements made, subject to the relevant carrier's/operator's
conditions. it is the customers responsibility to see that all travel
documents are in order. The acceptance of receipts, tickets, vouchers
and coupons shall be deemed consent of these conditions.
Payment
Please note that only full payment guarantees your fare. A non-refundable
deposit is payable at the time of booking with the balance due no
later than 8 weeks before departure, unless otherwise advised at
time of booking. Please note, tickets cannot be issued until full
payment has been received. Payment can be taken by cash and cheques.
We accept all major credit and debit cards. Payment by Debit cards
are with no-surcharge, but payment by Credit Cards will be subject
to a 1.85% surcharge. Personal cheques require 15 working days to
clear.
Travel Insurance We strongly recommend
that you purchase Travel Insurance at the time of booking. It is
a requirement when booking your holiday that you accept our special
travel insurance or alternatively at that time arrange a policy
yourself providing at least comparable cover. (Insurance is non
– refundable and is excluded from cancellation). In case of
cancellation a claim can only be made on Services & Goods provided
by supplier and the insurance premium is non – refundable.
Travel essentials
Please check with your GP about health requirements. Your booking
confirmation will set out the specific terms and conditions of your
travel arrangements. Please check with your travel consultant if
you are unsure. Non-UK passport holders should check with the embassies
of the countries they are visiting for their visa requirements.
Visa and health requirements frequently change and it is advisable
to check the up-to-date situation personally.
Changing/cancelling your booking
Any cancellation of a booking must be made in writing to the company
no later than 8 weeks before departure. Within that time the company
cannot guarantee any applicable refund. Your consultant will have
advised the levels of cancellation fees applicable to your booking.
Albion Travel Centre reserves the right to apply administration
fees to any refunds due.
The company will endeavour to assist its customers
in making any requested changes to confirmed bookings. Such changes
are not always possible. The company may charge an amendment fee
of up to £25 if changes are possible. In addition, the customer
will be liable for any additional costs incurred by the company
or levied by a service provider. Any changes requested after full
payment has been received will be treated as cancellation and full
cancellation charges will be applicable.
Your protection
We act as retail agents for ATOL protected operators, you as the
customer, will receive either a valid airline ticket or a valid
ATOL receipt as soon as you pay, or within 24 hours for telephone
bookings. The ATOL receipt confirms that your money is protected
by an Air Travel Organiser's Licence granted by the Civil Aviation
Authority.
Your consultant will advise you of the cost of travel
insurance for your booking. Insurance is strongly recommended at
all times, and in some cases, is compulsory.
Force majeure
Albion Travel Centre cannot accept responsibility or pay any compensation
for any loss, delay, cancellation or alteration of travel arrangements
caused by circumstances amount to 'Force Majeure'. This may include
war, threat of war, riots/civil strife, industrial disputes, fire,
adverse, weather conditions, natural disaster, terrorist activity
and all other events beyond the company's control.
2. Online Booking conditions with "external
links" (booking with "external Companies")
For Booking online we aim to provide you (our user) through our
selection of "external links" travel services offered
to the UK public and worldwide by top UK and other Major brand names
worldwide. We assume no responsibility for any grievances arising
from any dealings that you may undertake as a result of following
our "external links" from our web site. These "external
links" are provided for your reference only.
We will not be responsible for any errors, omissions or misleading
information and we disclaim, to the maximum extent permitted by
law, all implied warranties in connection with such information.
Car hire and Hotel reservation
Terms & conditions:
Albion Travel Centre act as agents for Car Hire and Hotel accommodation.
In the event of Cancellation, fees may apply in accordance with
the terms and conditions of that service provider or supplier. In
the event you no longer require any reservation, whether for a hotel
booking or for car hire, please contact us or our service provider/supplier
to help to avoid such cancellation charges which in all cases will
still be strictly subject to all and any applicable terms and conditions.
